The Nespresso Altissio Decaffeinato Vertuo pod has a lovely royal purple color with a red ring indicating decaffeination. I brewed Altissio Decaffeinato with my VertuoPlus Deluxe, and its color indicated that it is a high intensity capsule. When I took a sip, I found it light, not full-bodied or heavy. But I found a hint of acidity and much bitterness. I like bitter coffee, so it was best for me. I enjoyed the drink a lot.
I frothed the 2 oz milk with Aeroccino frother and brewed Altissio Decaffeinato coffee over it. The drink looked cool. When I tasted it, I was surprised, the bitterness faded, and I got roasted cocoa notes. The drink’s flavor was pleasant, and I must say the Altissio stood up with milk very well.

Nespresso solved this problem and offered a Pods Recycling Program. Nespresso aluminum capsules are fully recyclable and guarantee coffee freshness. Nestle invested over $1.2 million and upgraded New York City’s recycling facilities. If you are a resident of New York City, you can directly dispense your used Aluminum Coffee Pods into the recycling bin/bag to recycle them. However, If you are not a New York City resident, you must order a recycling bag from Nespresso; the company ships the bag free, accommodating 200 used Aluminum Coffee Pods. Fill the recycling bag with used Nespresso Aluminum capsules and store it in the freezer to prevent it from smelling.
