We have incredible drinks with Nespresso Arondio Vertuo coffee pods. The drink quality and notable attributes urged us to share our honest review.
Nespresso Arondio is a medium roast blend of Colombian Arabica and Guatemalan Robusta beans. The medium roast blend of these beans adds subtle acidity and glows your cup with a smooth cereal note. Adding milk to this mild coffee enhances its character and softens the cereal flavor.
Nespresso Arondio is a medium roast coffee made from the medium roasted blend of Colombian Arabicas and Guatemalan-washed Robusta beans. It delivers a 5.7 oz balanced gran lungo drink and allows you to kick start your day with one of the best Nespresso coffees. This split roasted coffee hits your palate with malty and nutty notes and gives you a lovely experience with or without milk.
Arondio gran lungo has a remarkable flavor range. It is created from Colombian Arabicas and a touch of long roasted Robusta oomph. When you brew it without milk, you get flowery and floral notes, but when you add milk, a smooth cereal note graces your palate. It delivers the perfect cappuccino and makes your day perfect with subtle acidity, enchanting character, and a little bitterness.
When I unboxed my Arondio Vertuo pod, it was pretty good. The silver rose color looked pretty. It is a VertuoLine pod and delivers 5.7 oz gran lungo, so I brewed it with a VertuoLine machine. The coffee dripping was soothing, and I was excited to taste it. When I smelled it, I felt a tart scent and found it interesting. Its color indicated that its intensity would be around 6. When I tasted it, the flavor was astonishing to me. I felt a few fruity notes and a bitter aftertaste indicating the presence of dark and long-roasted Robusta beans. I did not detect cereal notes at all. I took another sip and felt the flowery essence. After some time, the flowery notes fainted, and a little nip of bitterness took its place.
I tried gran lungo Arondio with milk; I frothed the milk with Aeroccino milk frother and added it to the brewed Arondio drink. The light brown color looked cool. When I tasted it, I found it weird. The fruity and flowery notes disappeared, and I got mild cereal notes. I felt the toasted and corn cereal flavor. It was interesting; the first taste was reasonably strong and hit my palate hard. Overall, I got decent flavor, the flowery and fruity were coming through, and I felt a little bitterness on the tip of my tongue. I suggest this incredible Vertuo coffee pod greatly.
Arondio is a medium roasted blend with distinct cereal notes. I focus on the major features of the Nespresso Arondio Vertuo pod. These attributes differentiate Arondio from all other Nespresso Vertuo coffee pods greatly. These features also help us to understand when we should brew this lavish pod. Let’s study these attributes in detail.
Nespresso Arondio Vertuo coffee capsule is a blend of Colombian Arabicas and Guatemalan-washed Robusta beans. This blend brings clean strength and balanced intensity to the last. There is no harshness in Arondio, and it allows you to jumpstart your day with positive thoughts.
The beans of Arondio roasted in two batches. The Colombian Arabica beans get a light yet long roast, resulting in subtle acidity, coffee roundness, and smooth cereal notes. The unwashed Guatemalan Robusta beans are roasted dark for a long period, resulting in strong character, balanced intensity, and dense crema.
When I brewed Nespresso Gran Lungo Arondio, I felt an interesting tart smell. The high temperature and intermediate flow rate results in a robust aromatic profile. The aroma was enticing and fresh and wafted through the air. When I brewed it with milk, I was surprised that I felt mild cereal notes. Its mild fresh aromatic profile made my day amazing.
I felt a subtle acidity in Nespresso Arondio Vertuo coffee. The slight acidity gave a surprising touch to my Nespresso coffee, and I enjoyed it a lot. When I added milk, it took away its acidity and left a mild baggy flavor on my tongue. It made my drink more full-bodied, and the acidity delivered the true depth of flavor.
When I started to taste Arondio Vertuo coffee, I felt a slight bitterness on my tongue. The little bitterness hinted at the presence of Robusta beans. The dark blend of Robusta and Arabica beans makes the drinks bitter, develop inner strength, and gives it mild cereal notes.
When I brewed gran lungo or black Americano with Arondio Vertuo pod, the drink’s color was dark. The smooth texture soothed my throat when I took a sip of it. The dark roasting of Guatemalan Robusta beans delivers dense crema and makes it the perfect Nespresso coffee for the morning. I got a full-bodied and creamy drink when I tried it with milk. These characteristics allowed me to drink the whole cup in no time.
Nespresso Gran Lungo Arondio delivered me a complex Vertuo coffee cup; it allowed me to experience a new flavor. When I took the first sip, I felt fruity and nutty notes, but the flowery taste graced my palate in another sip. The smooth cereal notes became dominant when I brewed latte and cappuccino, and I felt a little tartness on my tongue. Overall, I found the flavor of the Arondio Vertuo pod quite decent.
When I finished my Arondio Vertuo coffee, I got a bit tart on my tongue, which stayed for a long time. It was smooth and lingering, and I enjoyed it a lot. When I brewed milk beverages with Arondio Vertuo pod, the strong toasted and corn cereal notes hit my palate. The mild cereal note stayed for a longer time and made my drink fantastic.
Nespresso gran lungo coffee pods contain about 120-200 mg of caffeine and are enough to fulfill your caffeine needs for one day. This caffeine content delivers a strong drink and makes you active for the whole day. Nespresso Arondio has a high caffeine content and delivers bitter and intense gran lungo beverages. When we calculated it in our lab, we found 135 mg of caffeine content in this sumptuous Nespresso Vertuo pod.
Nespresso mild Gran Lungo Arondio is a blend of dark roasted Colombian Arabica and Gourmet Guatemalan Robusta beans. This blend balances intensity to the end and adds subtle acidity to it. The subtle acidity brings a surprising touch to this mild coffee or coffee’s roundness. A deep, gentle intensity makes your drink enjoyable with an approachable character, so you can easily drink a mug of this high-quality coffee. The strong character, fuller coffee crema, and distinct cereal notes made it the perfect breakfast coffee for me.
Nespresso mild Gran Lungo Arondio has high caffeine content, i.e., 135 mg. The high caffeine content makes your drink stronger and more intense, but on the other hand, it adversely affects the health of caffeine-sensitive people. High caffeine content increases the heartbeat and causes headaches or many other problems, so if you are sensitive to caffeine, use decaffeinated Nespresso coffee pods such as Fortado Decaffeinato,—- Altissio Decaffeinato,—- Decaffeinato Intenso,—- Nespresso Melozio Decaffeinato, etc.
However, if you like high caffeine content and caffeinated coffees, Arondio Nespresso, medium roast coffee, is the best choice.
Nespresso Arondio is brewed with Nespresso VertuoLine machines as it is a Vertuo pod. VertuoLine machines offer six brew sizes.
Nespresso Arondio delivers a 5.7 oz balanced gran lungo drink. We tried other brew sizes, such as double espresso, carafe, alto, etc. but got sour, acrid, and watery drinks. So, I suggested brewing only gran lungo or other lungo-based drinks with the Arondio Vertuo pod.
I have brewed many incredible recipes with Nespresso Arondio Vertuo pod. Click the link below to find out the easy method for these recipes.
Nespresso offers two lines; OriginalLine and VertuoLine
OriginalLine machines are compatible with OriginalLine Nespresso coffee capsules and third-party coffee capsules. They use 19 bar pressure and extract perfect aroma and flavor from these compatible coffee pods. They are best for those who drink coffee regularly.
VertuoLine Nespresso machines scan the Nespresso pods, spin them at 7000 RPM, and extract the perfect shot, thanks to the Centrifusion technique. They are compatible with VertuoLine and Starbucks by Nespresso Vertuo coffee pods and are best for those who drink coffee now and then.
Nespresso Arondio gran lungo is a VertuoLine pod, and you can brew it with any of the Nespresso VertuoLine machines such as Vertuo,—- VertuoPlus,—- VertuoPlus Deluxe,—- Vertuo Next, and Evoluo.
Nespresso collaborated with NGO Rainforest Alliance in 2003 and launched Nespresso AAA Sustainable Quality™ Program. According to this program, Nespresso invests in social programs (insurance and pensions), ensures profitable coffee farming, and pays for coffee more than the market prices. Today 80% of Nespresso coffee comes from AAA-certified farms, and 40% comes from Rainforest Alliance-certified farms.
No doubt, Nespresso pod brewers are an affordable system compared to regular visits to the coffee house, which are time-consuming and expensive. Although you cannot evaluate how much money you can save by brewing and staying at home. If a person spends $3-4 at a local coffee shop, but if he buys Keurig or Nespresso pods, how much money he will save is shown in the table below.
Capsule or pod | Cost, 1 Serving | Cost, 365 Servings | Savings Over Coffee Shop |
Keurig K-Cup | $0.35-$0.65 | $219 | $1,241 |
Nespresso Vertuo | $0.90-$1.25 | $402 | $1,058 |
Nespresso Original | $0.70-$0.85 | $292 | $1,168 |
Coffee Shop | $3.50-$4.50 | $1,460 | $0 |
The above data makes us understand that if we brew coffee recipes with Nespresso Arondio Vertuo at home, we can save up to 80% of our money. Not only with Nespresso Arondio, but you can save the same amount with any of the OriginalLine or VertuoLine pods.
