With an aluminum and zinc body, beautiful silver color, 74.4 oz water reservoir, 10 x 10.5 x 12.25 inches dimensions, and 19.1 pounds weight, Breville Die-cast BES830XL is café culture for your home countertop. Its 4.5-inch head elevation lets you brew directly into cappuccino, latte, or Americano cups. Included with both ‘Single Wall’ and ‘Dual Wall’ filters, the machine has a unique 15-bar Triple-Prime pump. Before extraction, its 15-bar pump automatically releases three bursts of hot water into the filter head, allowing the ground coffee to expand. The machine is ideal for espresso variations like Americano, Cappuccino, and Café Latte. Unfortunately, Breville has discontinued Die-cast BES830XL; check out the Breville Infuser instead.

The newest of Breville’s 5 Espresso machines, the Barista Express has a programmable or manual coffee settings, an integrated conical burr grinder, hands-free grinding cradle, preset and adjustable dose control, PID temperature control, low-pressure pre-infusion, dedicated hot water outlet for long blacks, multi-access swivel steam wand, 2L Water tank with a water filtration system, fast heat up and high-pressure steam for do-it-yourself third-wave specialty drinks.

The mid-range, easy-to-use entry-level model of Breville’s espresso machines, the ESP8XL Cafe Roma, has a small 41 oz water reservoir than other Breville espresso machines and includes a 16 oz stainless steel milk frothing pitcher and a an integrated milk frother for lattes and cappuccinos. Its Thermoblock heating system extracts espresso at the right temperature, and a full 15 bars of pressure maximizes crema for a rich, barista-style aroma and taste. Café Roma features a heating indicator light that glows orange as the machine is heating up, then turns off when the temperature and pressure are ready to make espresso. Now discontinued, check out the Breville ESP8BSS1BCA1 instead.
