Quick Navigation
I am a sophisticated coffee lover, and my morning is incomplete without a perfect coffee cup. I have been using the Breville Barista Express for a long time and grind my whole beans on my own with its integrated grinder. After some time, I replaced it with a premium model, i.e., Breville Oracle Touch. Its advanced features and one-touch operation enhanced my experience and delivered me a wide variety of drinks effortlessly. When it started to cause problems, I replaced it with a Keurig coffee maker. I brewed long coffees with K-cup pods, which was quite an interesting experience. But after some time, it also became out of order; at that time, I got fed up with buying or replacing the coffee makers. So, I did not buy a new coffee maker and started to fulfill my caffeine needs at the Starbucks coffee shop.
I went to the coffee shop regularly and drank my coffee along with pastries and cheesecake. At first, I did not feel it, but gradually I realized that it was an expensive experience and had destroyed my morning routine. Moreover, my job was not stable at that time. One of my friends suggested French Press, — AeroPress, — Moka Pot, and Percolators, but they did not brew authentic espresso. Another advised instant coffee packets and single-serve coffee bags like tea bags, but these things are best for office use.
I started searching for an espresso machine and thought I would buy a coffee machine for temporary use, and when I get stable, I will buy a premium model. While searching, I saw two types of Nespresso machines; OriginalLine and VertuoLine. I chose Nespresso KitchenAid as its cherry red casing impressed me a lot. Also, it was a discontinued model, so I bought it for temporary use.
When I used it and brewed drinks with it, its advanced features and coffee settings delivered great drinks and gave me a spectacular experience. Now, my habit of going to coffee shops has gone away. Here is a complete description of my experience with this machine and details of its features, pros, cons, and settings.
With 8.3″W x 13.0″ D x 13.0″H dimension and 19.4 lbs weight, Nespresso KitchenAid is a hefty and durable espresso machine. It has a large 44 oz water reservoir, offers six programmable brew sizes, and is best for those coffee lovers who value style and convenience. Unfortunately, it is a discontinued model. If you want a small, compact machine, check out Nespresso Essenza Mini.

Nespresso offers two lines; OriginalLine and VertuoLine
OriginalLine machines: These machines use powerful 19 bars pressure and extract the perfect flavor and premium aromas from OriginalLine Nespresso Pods. They deliver fantastic espresso shots with dense crema. These machines are compatible with Nespresso OriginalLine pods and third-party Nespresso pods and are best for those who drink coffee regularly.
VertuoLine machines use the Centrifusion technique, scan the pod barcode, spin the pods at 7000 RPM, and pull the desired shot. These machines work well with VertuoLine pods only, but after the Nespresso and Starbucks partnership, they are also compatible with Starbucks by Nespresso Vertuoline pods. — VertuoLine machines are best for those who drink coffee now and then.

With 19.4 lbs weight and tough metal housing, the KitchenAid coffee machine is one of the most powerful Nespresso machines. Its weight is twice the Lattissima series, three times the Prodigio, and four times the Essenza Mini. It has a unique design with a cherry-red casing; unfortunately, it lacks a milk frother and wireless connectivity features.
When I bought the KitchenAid Nespresso machine, I was worried about whether it was worth the price or not. But it offered good value for my money. It comes in six colors; Candy Apple, Black, Silver, Cherry Red, Almond Cream, and Frosted Pearl. All of these colors will decorate your kitchen very well. However, it is a heavy model (19.4 lbs) and occupies a large space as it has 8.3″W x 13.0″ D x 13.0″H dimensions. It has only one dial; pressing the dial will turn on the machine, control the brew sizes, and dispense the coffee. It has tough metal housing and a large & removable water reservoir (44 oz). The foldable & adjustable drip tray/cup support allows you to brew either in small cups or large mugs. In short, the KitchenAid Nespresso machine is an attention-grabbing model.
KitchenAid has a large 44 oz water reservoir made of plastic. This quantity is enough for me as it allows me to brew 6-7 drinks without refilling. Also, the water tank is removable, which offers quick refilling and easy cleaning.
It was an easy task when I brewed with the KitchenAid Nespresso machine. I turned on the machine, filled the water tank, and the machine took 30 seconds to heat up. Then, I inserted the Nespresso capsule, rotated the dial towards the large cup, and pressed the central brewing button. The capsule container is pod-shaped, so the inserted capsule will sit at the right angle every time without error. The machine delivered me a perfect cup of consistent drink with dense crema and irresistible aroma within 2 minutes. This coffee machine allows you to brew coffee, mocha, tea, and many more beverages. It offers six programmable brew sizes. With this coffee machine, you will never get a bad coffee cup.
The downside of this model is that it lacks a milk frother. If you want to enjoy milk-based beverages, pair it with a standalone Aeroccino frother. Pairing with Aeroccino milk frother will open up a world of delicious recipes.
To keep your machine in a good position;
Before buying, I searched for the KitchenAid Nespresso machine on many online stores. Its price is $359 on Amazon, $349.99 on Bed Bath Beyond, and $179.99 on eBay. I bought this espresso machine from Amazon, a trustworthy and reliable site. I found the KitchenAid espresso maker quite affordable as it has many features, a versatile level of settings, and offers a wide range of drinks.
