World Explorations Miami Espresso Pod Taste Test

I bought these capsules from the Nespresso website. My Miami capsule had a nice turquoise color and design. I inserted it into my Nespresso Lattissima Touch machine and pressed the espresso button. The drink had a dark color and a pleasant cereal and tobacco aroma. As I took a sip, I found it strong and bitter. The tobacco and pepper notes graced my palate, and the intense flavor hinted at an intensity of 9. It was a strong shot.

In the next turn, I frothed the milk and added it to the Miami espresso. I tasted it and found that the milk nicely mellowed out the intense profile. The pleasant coffee flavor and cereal notes were coming through. It was a pleasant and smooth coffee cup.

Miami Espresso is a perfect morning blend. Brew it for breakfast and pair it with a chocolate croissant or dark chocolate to mellow its intense profile.

These OriginalLine capsules represent the city of Miami Florida, and produce 0.85 oz ristretto or 1.35 oz espresso shots. These pods work well with only Nespresso OriginalLine machines.

Nespresso OriginalLine Miami Espresso Capsule Features — An In-Depth Insight

I have listed major features of the World Explorations Miami Espresso capsule that differentiate it from other blends. These characteristics will solve your queries and help you to know whether you should buy it, whether it is meant for you, and much more. Let’s have a look at their details.

Origin — Latin America And the Caribbean Coffees

Nespresso Miami Espresso is a blend of Latin American and Caribbean Arabica and Robusta beans. These beans add a dark crema that crowns the peppery, cereal, and tobacco leaf aromas. Many cultural influences shape this blend, and it is a melting pot of traditions where drinking coffee is a way to celebrate life and a social affair. Miami embodies Hispanic coffee, i.e., vibrant and bold.

Roasting Level — 5 out of 5

In World Explorations Miami Espresso, the beans undergo a split roast technique. Each split gets a dark and short roast. The fine grinding completes the intense profile.

Aroma — Nutty And Balanced

When I brewed this blend, the pleasant cereal and tobacco aroma crossed the thick crema and hit my nose. This scent refreshed my mind and excited me to taste the coffee.

Acidity — 1 out of 5

Before taking a sip, I was expecting rich acidity. However, the mild acidity touched my tongue when I tasted my Miami shot. It balanced the flavor profile and prevented my coffee from tasting sour.

Bitterness — 4 out of 5

My Miami coffee was bitter. The bitter notes remained in my mouth to the last. However, the bitterness was pleasant and did not make my drink harsh.

Body — 4 out of 5

My Miami espresso shot was full-bodied. The thick, persistent crema gave my drink a nice look. The smooth, creamy texture sat luxuriously on my tongue, gave me a pleasant mouthfeel, and made my coffee easy to drink.

Flavor — Roasted Cereal

Nespresso Miami delivered me a bold espresso shot. The intense roasted tobacco and pepper notes danced on my palate. When I brewed a ristretto-sized cup, the drink became more intense, and rich tobacco notes and dark chocolate flavor were coming through. However, when I brewed the latte, the milk mellowed out the intense notes beautifully and delivered an amazing cup. The cereal and traditional coffee flavor covered my palate, making my day enjoyable.

Note: For the ristretto, press the espresso button to start brewing, and midway, press the button again to stop it. You will get your shorter draw.

Finish — Cereal And Tobacco

When I finished my Miami Espresso shot, the cereal and tobacco notes stayed long at the back of my tongue, making my cup linger. My drink was smooth, intense, and full-bodied. This blend is perfect for intense coffee lovers.

If you love this blend, you may also fall for Cafecito De Cuba capsules.

Nespresso World Exploration Miami Espresso Intensity — 9 out of 13

What level is Miami Espresso? World Explorations Miami Espresso delivers intense beverages. However, the intense notes are not overwhelming. It expresses its intensity in the form of delightful roasted, woody, and cereal notes. It is a full-bodied, intense roast complemented by a dark crema.

Nespresso Miami Espresso Caffeine Content — 55-65 mg

World Exploration Miami Espresso gives you a strong, intense kick with 55-65 mg of caffeine. It is an intensely roasted blend, having cereal and a woody character. It allows you to taste the peppery and tobacco leaf aromas packed beneath its dark crema. Enjoy Miami as a black espresso/ristretto, or make it fancy with sauces, syrups, spices powder, etc.
