Quick Navigation
When we talk about coffee, we also talk about caffeine because coffee and caffeine go hand in hand. And until we meet our daily caffeine needs, our day doesn’t go by, and our daily activities don’t go well.
If we get enough of our daily caffeine, we fly around like butterflies and do our work by running. On the other hand, if our daily caffeine needs are not met, we shrink like earthworms and lie down in bed like a turtle, and we don’t even get to do our daily chores.
But there is a problem. Both caffeine overdose and deficiency are not suitable. And for those who are addicted to caffeine, it is a big problem. In this article, I have tried to address my readers who are suffering from caffeine deficiency or overdose. Because I have solved all these problems through practical experience, read out!
You can control the caffeine by making cold-brewed coffee. The way to do this is to choose the beans that contain the caffeine you like when you buy coffee beans for your cold brew. That is, if you prefer less caffeine, purchase coffee beans that are low in caffeine. And if you like more caffeine, buy coffee beans that are high in caffeine.
When choosing a cold-brewed water and coffee ratio, take care of your caffeine preferences and needs there as well. If you want less caffeine, put more water in the water and coffee ratio and lower the coffee grounds.
The ratios most people use in water and coffee ratios are 1: 2, 1: 3, 1: 4, 1: 5, 1: 6, 1: 7, and 1: 8. In these ratios, “1” refers to coffee bean grounds, and the remaining numbers are used for water. Remember that the more water you add, the less caffeine in your coffee concentrate.
And when you start steeping coffee grounds with water, take care of your caffeine preferences and needs; if you like more caffeine, steep on them longer. By the way, the standard steeping time is 12 to 24 hours. But if you need more caffeine, you can steep ground coffee beans in water for more than 24 hours, i.e. 36 hours.
But keep one thing in mind! If you steep coffee beans in water for more than 24 hours, the amount of caffeine in them will increase. But there is a severe risk that your coffee concentrate will become bitter as the steeping time increases. But if you have no problem with bitterness, the more you steep, the more bitterness and caffeine will increase.
And most of all, if you haven’t taken care of any of them and have developed enough cold brew concentrate, now consider: what kind of ground coffee beans you used to make this concentrate? Was it Arabica or Robusta? Was it Librika or Axelsa? And what was the amount of caffeine in them?
However, if you have used more caffeinated coffee beans for your cold brew concentrate and used the water to the coffee ratio, that is a more high caffeine ratio. And you have steeped these beans in water for even longer, i.e. 12 to 36 hours. So keep in mind that you have developed a coffee concentrate that has more caffeine in it. Be careful never to drink this concentrate of cold brew coffee directly. Drinking it without diluting it with water or milk is very harmful to your health. Drinking it without diluting it can kill you. So what to do for the better? Let me tell you.
You can make ice cubes of this coffee concentrate and keep it in the fridge. Take these ice cubes out of the refrigerator daily or whenever you need to make your cold brew coffee, mix them in water as needed, and serve. You can mix the water to your taste and need.
Just take care of one thing! The more water you add to the ice cubes of these coffee concentrates, the less caffeine in your cold brew coffee glass. The more water, the less caffeine. The less water, the more caffeine.
Here’s another tip for your caffeine intake: If you’re addicted to caffeine, you know that too much caffeine can make a cold brew bitter. So if you have no problem with bitterness, then drink this more bitter and caffeinated cold brew. Bitterness does not stand in the way of your caffeine because you are a caffeine lover.
If you want your cold brew to have more caffeine and no bitterness, then I have a recipe for it. And the trick is to use the ice cubes of your cold-brewed coffee concentrate (that you have kept in your refrigerator) by mixing the ice cubes with milk instead of water. This way, your cold brew will not be bitter, and the amount of caffeine will be higher.
You can combine both milk and water at the same time to dilute the coffee concentrate in your cold brew. But it can make a difference in the taste of milk.
And if you are more interested in sweetness, you can also use sugar in your cold brew. Using sugar in this way will further reduce the bitterness of caffeine.
If mixing milk and sugar in a cold brew doesn’t taste right, I have another recipe for controlling your caffeine and cold brew taste.
And the trick is to mix the cream in your cold brew’s cup or glass. Adding cream will double the taste of the cold brew. And the bitterness of caffeine will not be known.
It is important to note that the water you are using for your cold brew must be filtered water. Ordinary tap water is not suitable for your health and will make your cold brew bitter.
Likewise, in water and coffee grounds, the milk or cream you use to enhance the taste of your cold brew should be pure. Remember that pure milk and cream are good for your health and suitable for the taste of your cold brew. If we use impure milk or cream in our cold brew, it feels like we are not a coffee drinker but are drinking chemicals.
Disclaimer: I’ve told you how to increase the caffeine in your cold brew coffee or overcome the caffeine flavor and bitterness with milk, cream and sugar, but there is a hazardous side to it.
One risk factor is that high sugar intake can lead to diabetes. And excessive consumption of milk and cream and especially cream, increases the risk of heart and blood pressure diseases, so be very careful in the use of milk, sugar, and cream. But I want to talk about another expected threat here.
And the significant danger is that: the use of too much sugary milk and cream will increase the taste of your cold-brewed coffee, and the bitterness of caffeine will be obscured. But you will not know how much caffeine you have taken. You get drunk on the flavours of milk, cream and sugar with your cold brew coffee and take in too much caffeine. And it is the most dangerous for your health.
Someone has said on this occasion, ” Excess of everything is bad”, then how can it be good and wise to take more caffeine than your body needs. Therefore be very careful when taking caffeine.
Suppose you are afraid that the use of milk, sugar and cream will cause you to take too much caffeine and endanger your life. And also want to use milk, sugar and cream because you like their taste. So I have a solution to your problem.
Make your own Cold Brew recipe with a particular ratio. Then put the cold brew in the glass you drink. Then mix milk and cream according to your need and taste. Now let your cold brew check in the laboratory how much caffeine is in it.
When you have checked your cold brew in the laboratory and found out how much caffeine is in the particular recipe from which you have prepared your cold brew?
Now you go to your doctor.
Show your doctor the laboratory tests. He’ll know how much caffeine was in the cup or glass of cold brew you prepared. Now consult your doctor about how many glasses or cups of caffeinated cold brew coffee you drink daily are good for your health.
Your doctor may instruct you to drink one to eight cups or glasses of cold brew daily, depending on your health. Please keep a record of the doctor’s instructions and follow them daily.
Now you can make your cold brew daily with the same ratios and in the same way you had checked in your laboratory and consulted the doctor by showing the laboratory report. If you ever want to change your cold brew recipe, change it. No problem. But even for this new recipe, you have to check your cold brew glass from the laboratory and consult a doctor.
So this is the answer to how you can change your cold brew recipe every week by getting checked in the laboratory and consulting a doctor.
Tip: Keep a record of how you make your recipe. Also, keep a record of laboratory tests and doctor’s instructions. In this way, in a short time, you will have a complete record album of your recipes, laboratory tests and according to the doctor’s instructions. Now you can change your cold brew recipe daily by following these instructions. Just be sure to consult a doctor from time to time.
Not for everyone! All the caffeine precautions I have mentioned are for those who have a problem with taking more or less caffeine. If you do not have a problem with taking more or less caffeine, you do not need these precautions too much. Make your cold brew coffee and enjoy

Yes, if you are a fan of hot brewed coffee and you need to increase or decrease the caffeine in your hot brew, then when you are collecting its ingredients before hot brewing, then you should set the ratio of coffee and water to your hot brew. Thus you can increase or decrease the caffeine content in the hot brew coffee.
