When you see the top of the Nespresso Essenza Mini machine, you will find two buttons, one on the right is Lungo, and the one on the left is Espresso. Today we will tackle the Espresso button. Follow the steps below to brew a hot double Espresso shot.
Before starting the Instructions, I want to let you know that there are two ways to brew a double shot of Espresso. One uses the same capsule, and the other uses two different Espresso capsules. The preceding method will give you a less strong taste than the following one. Making a double shot of Espresso using one Capsule is not recommended by Nespresso as Nespresso says you should not use one capsule twice as it will make the second shot of coffee less intense.
- Plug the machine’s cord into a grounded outlet.
- Turn ON the machine by pressing either the Lungo or Espresso button.
