Yes, you can run the Nespresso pod twice, but the second shot from the same pod will be less intense and less strong.
Nespresso has two buttons which are factory set. The Espresso button is set to brew a shot of 40 ml, and the Lungo button is designed to brew a shot of 110 ml.
Nespresso Originalline pods can brew a full cup of coffee.
With the Nespresso Originalline pods, you can make half to even a full cup of coffee. However, the intensity and strength can decrease or vary as the volume increases.
Nespresso Citiz default factory setting allows it to brew an Espresso shot of 40 ml and a Lungo shot of 110 ml. You can also change the cup size setting by pressing and holding the Coffee button until you get the desired coffee volume. For instance, you can make a Ristretto, a small cup shot, or a large coffee cup.
Nespresso Vertuo can brew the biggest cup of coffee and carafe.
Nespresso Citiz can make Espresso size coffee which is 40 ml, and Lungo which is 110 ml. You can change the coffee size to a Ristretto or a large coffee cup.

It’s good to clean the outside of Nespresso Citiz after a day or two. However, for descaling, it is recommended to descale your brewer twice a year.
For Lungo, you only have to press the Lungo button one time. The same is for Espresso. If you want a double shot, then you can press the coffee button after the first shot has been poured.
Nespresso coffee is made under high pressure with a strong coffee flavor and less water volume. That’s why Nespresso coffee is stronger than regular coffee.
To make a long shot of coffee, press and hold the Lungo or Espresso button until you are satisfied with the poured coffee volume. It will give you a long coffee shot.
One scoop of coffee is more than enough to make one cup of coffee.
To make a large cup of coffee, press and hold the specific coffee button until you are satisfied with the coffee volume. The longer you press, the larger the coffee cup you will receive.

To make a long coffee in a Nespresso Citiz machine, press and hold the coffee button. The longer you press it, the larger the coffee volume you will get.
